What kind of leather does LA SAINT use?

We use high quality, locally sourced Italian leather, which is traditionally tanned and lightly finished to protect the surface.

Which fabrics does LA SAINT use?

To ensure the durability of your bag, the lining is made of Alcantara. Because its fibers are extremely thin in structure, the upper layer of the fabric has a velvety soft feel. Alcantara is easy to clean and extremely durable.

What kind of metal hardware does LA SAINT use?

All metal hardware is made in Italy of high-quality nickel-free brass with a gold finish.

Does LA SAINT offer a repairs service?

We only offer a repair service if your item has a manufacturing fault. We do not accept other defects.

Are the products on your website always available?

Occasionally it happens that items in our webshop cannot be shipped right away. When this happens, there will be a notification on our product page. In that case, it is possible to pre-order the item. You can then place a pre-order; your shipment will take place as soon as that item is available.

Where are the LA SAINT bags made?

All our bags are handcrafted in Tuscany, Italy by an atelier that is renowned for the expertise and craftsmanship of its artisans.

2. Order

What is the status of my order?

Once you’ve received your shipping confirmation email, you can track your package on the corresponding shipping carrier’s website.

Can I cancel or modify my order?

We process and complete orders as quickly as possible. If you wish to cancel or make any changes to your order, contact us at contact@la-saint.com as soon as possible after placing your order. Provided we haven’t dispatched the order, we’ll work with you to make any requested changes.

What if something I ordered arrived damaged?

We are happy to help with damaged items. Please email us pictures, a brief description of the damage, the order number, and your shipping information to contact@la-saint.com. We will follow up as soon as possible. LA SAINT will determine the best solution and may ask to see a product in person before making a decision. The security tag must be attached to accept any returns. Please note that LA SAINT is not responsible for normal wear and tear, such as staining or damaged leather due to use.

What is a pre-order?

Pre-order is a way to reserve a bag from an upcoming style or configuration, or if a bag is out of stock. The pre-order process is the same as our regular order process, however, the item will ship at a later date than when you purchase a bag that’s readily available. You will of course receive a shipping notification once your bag is on its way to you.

Why do you offer a pre-order instead of just stocking up?

At LA SAINT, we aim to be as environmentally conscious as possible. By producing in limited quantities, we never have excess stock, keeping our waste level at an absolute minimum.

How long do I have to wait for my pre-order?

Because all of our bags are handmade, it may take around 6-8 weeks until your pre-order is shipped out. However, most of the time a production run will already be in place, which shortens the delivery time significantly.

Where does LA SAINT deliver?

What is your return policy?

We accept returns of unused products within 14 calendar days of delivery. Please see our Delivery & Returns section for additional information on our return policy and how to return your order. For any help please contact our customer care team at contact@la-saint.com.

How will I receive a refund for returned items?

Your refund will be issued to the bank account, PayPal account or credit card associated with your initial payment

When can I expect my refund?

We will process return shipments within five business days after receipt, after which you will receive an e-mail confirming your refund.

4. Product care

How should I care for my LA SAINT bag?
  • Protect your bag from direct light, prolonged exposure to light, humidity, and extreme heat.
  • Store your bag in the protective cotton dust bag to avoid fading and to keep it dust free. To maintain its shape, keep your bag stuffed with fabrics, acid-free tissues or a handbag insert. Place it in an upright position. Do not overload your bag.
  • Take special care when handling the hardware and foil print logo. Avoid all contact with liquids, especially oily liquids like hand creams or lotions.
  • For light cleaning we recommend wiping your LA SAINT handbag with a soft, dry cloth. If your bag gets wet, wipe it dry and allow it to dry at room temperature. If you wish to deep clean your bag, you can leave it to a leather professional or use a professional leather cleaning agent. Be sure to test the product in an inconspicuous spot before applying it to the whole bag.

Which payment methods does LA SAINT accept?

Is the payment process secure?

Yes. The connection to our website is secured with SSL encryption. You can double check this; there should be a lock in your search bar, next to our web address, and the web address should start with “https” instead of “http”.

All payments are handled through our Payment Service Provider, Mollie, and are fully encrypted and protected according to PCI-DSS standards.

Do I have to pay custom duties & taxes if my order is shipped outside the EU?

Shipments outside the European Union may be subject to import taxes, duties, and customs fees, which are levied once your package reaches the country of destination and are the responsibility of the recipient.

How much are the custom duties & taxes for my order?

Each country has different rules for import and custom fees so we advise you to check the rules of your country with regards to any additional costs you might be asked to pay. Please contact your local customs office for further information.

International pricing

Our international prices are subject to the dynamics of currency exchange rates. We’ll calculate the cost of sending your items to your doorstep based on the fluctuating value of the euro against the currency of your destination.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

As soon as your order is shipped, you will receive an email notification and you will have the ability to track your package on the corresponding shipping carrier’s website.

Do I need to sign for the package?

Yes. All orders that are shipped will require a signature from the recipient. Please note that as a signature is required on delivery, La Saint is unable to deliver to PO Box addresses.

What do I do if my order never arrived?
