Aletta Jacobs
This beauty is named after one of the biggest protagonists of women’s rights in The Netherlands: Dr. Aletta Jacobs. Not only was she the first woman to ever get an academic degree, Aletta was also the first ever female doctor and fought for nearly 25 years so that Dutch women would finally get voting rights. Her drive wasn’t held back by borders: as member of Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom, she’s recognized internationally for her contribution to women’s rights all over the world.
